Great Value Teriyaki

Great Value is Walmart house brand of Jerky. For the amount in the package, the price is lower than I would expect.

In the Package

The jerky is in medium to large sized pieces. It looks to be moist and not dry. I don't see any oil residue on the package.

The Jerky

I was really surprised by the flavor! It's quite good. If you've had Jack Links teriyaki, you could definitely compare the two in terms of flavor.

The texture of the jerky was really variable. Some pieces were extremely tender and moist while others were really tough and on the dry side. If you like a variety in your jerky texture this may be a bonus point for you. The pieces that were more tender seemed to be a lot saltier than the other pieces.

For $2.98 I think this jerky is a really good value and I would definitely buy it again. I don't mind the variety in texture so much though.

Spices

Beef, Water, Sugar, Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Salt, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Paprika, Citric Acid.

This jerky has a good solid flavor. The ingredients list is pretty standard for a teriyaki style jerky.

Where to Buy

Great Value is Walmart's house brand of jerky. I haven't seen it anyway else but I'm sure it's a private label product so somewhere else it's being sold under different names.
